(UNDATED) How long will it take states to recover from the recession?
I.H.S. Global Insight, the world's largest economics organization, says it will take a long time.
In fact, the groups Jim Diffley say, it is a recession that could take up to a decade to recover from.
He says Indiana had a large downturn in the manufacturing sector that actually started in 2007 and 2008. He says Indiana is now in a relatively good position going forward.
The state didn't have a huge real estate crisis, although many Hoosier homeowners have been hit hard by foreclosure.
