(INDIANAPOLIS)(AP) - State Senator Randy Head is seeking a standardized testing exemption for specials needs students and children whose primarily language isn’t English.
Head says Indiana's ISTEP test system unfairly penalizes teachers by including scores from those students. He plans to introduce legislation that would trim the lowest five percent of test scores from teacher assessments.
