(HANOVER) (AP) - Officials say a 23-year-old man visiting an acquaintance at Hanover College was stabbed by a student during a residence hall fight.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says Vincent Johnson of Jamestown, suffered a stab wound to his back during the fight early Sunday.
Johnson taken to a hospital in nearby Madison before being flown to University Hospital in Louisville, Ky.
College spokeswoman Rhonda Burch says Johnson's injuries aren't life-threatening.
Police arrested 20-year-old student Demetrius Jones, of Columbus, on preliminary felony charges of aggravated battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
The private liberal arts college in the Ohio River town of Hanover has about 1,100 students.
