(COLUMBUS)(AP) - Tony Stewart will celebrate in his hometown of Columbus his third NACAR championship in the city’s Christmas parade.
Columbus officials announced Monday that Stewart will be a guest of honor during the annual Festival of Lights Parade at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The parade will come 13 days after Stewart captured the NASCAR title with his third win among this year's last four Sprint Cup Series races.
Columbus held a parade in Stewart's honor in 2005 after he won that year's Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Stewart also won NASCAR championships in 2002 and 2005.
