(UNDATED) - The United State Postal Service has announced mail deadlines for items people want delivered by Christmas.
If sending items domestically, First-Class Mail must be postmarked by Dec. 20, Priority Mail must be postmarked by Dec. 21 and Express Mail must be postmarked by Dec. 22. Parcel Post should be in the mail by Dec. 15.
Patrons sending items overseas to people in the military have other deadlines. Items being sent to Afghanistan should be mailed by Dec. 19 and items headed to Iraq should be sent by Dec. 16. Dates for mail heading to other countries vary by country and delivery type.
The latest items can be shipped to other countries is Dec. 19 to Dec. 21, depending on the region.
