(CUMBERLAND) - Cumberland Police are investigating the deaths of a 21-year-old man and his seven-year-old niece Monday afternoon.
Police Chief Michael Crooke says Jeremy and Kyleigh Crane were found around 3 p.m. in a home in the 600 block of Woodlark Drive. The chief calls it an apparent double homicide.
Autopsies will be performed Tuesday. Chief Crooke says the manner of death may not be known until then.
Kyleigh Crane was home from school because of illness.
