(INDIANAPOLIS) - Employ Indy has launched a new online effort to get unemployed Hoosiers back into the workforce. It’s called Virtual Workone.
The program gives residents around the clock access to re-employment services without visiting a traditional Workone center.
Employ Indy CEO Brooke Huntington says Marion County residents can now log onto workoneindy.com, create a free account and get many of the same services offered at Workone offices.
Services include: job resources, career advisors, education and training opportunities and connecting with employers.
Huntington says the site is up, running and ready to serve Hoosiers seeking employment. Employindy has also expanded the number of locations where residents of Indianapolis can access services through the development of the Mobile Workone, which provides on-site re-employment services to jobseekers.
Members of the Mobile Workone make more than 100 stops each month at eight Indianapolis Marion County public library branches, 16 community-based organizations and numerous other locations and events.
