(SELMA) - Indiana State Police officials say the driver of a Dodge Durango was injured when he rear-ended a small handicapped-accessible school bus on State Road 32 in the Delaware County.
Police say the Liberty-Perry School Corporation bus was stopped with the stop arm out and the lights flashing. A student was exiting the bus at the time of the crash and was knocked to the ground, but was not seriously injured. The three students on the bus were not injured.
The driver of the SUV, 41-year-old Scott Headley of Selma, was airlifted to Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie with internal injuries, then transferred to IU Health Methodist hospital in Indianapolis.
