(COLUMBUS) - Plans are in the works to sell the mayor’s sport utility vehicle to shore up a dearth in ice rescue equipment.
That means rope bags, ice picks, suits, floatation devices -- anything that can make the difference when every second counts.
Mayor Kristen Brown and the City Council will discuss details of the plan during a public meeting Tuesday at City Hall. They also will discuss Brown's intention to sell the mayor's vehicle to make the plan reality.
