(COLUMBUS) - One Columbus teen remains in critical condition from a two-vehicle crash Friday on Indiana 11 in northern Jackson County that killed a Greenwood woman and injured four others.
Corey Huddleston, 18, had severe head injuries and a broken leg, according to police. He is in critical condition at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Huddleson was a passenger in a Ford Mustang that hit a mini-van driven by 72-year-old Sharlene Mellencamp near the intersection of Indiana 11 and County Road 1000 North. Mellencamp was pronounced dead at the scene.
Katelin Nichole Garris, 17, also of Columbus, and the driver of the Mustang, suffered broken arms and legs and was in fair condition Sunday night at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
