(JOHNSON COUNTY) - FEMA is asking Johnson County to repay almost $220,000 that was meant to replace damaged voting machines from the 2008 flood.
The county, in total has about $873,000 with $500,000 of that slated to go towards the former Key Bank remodeling for county offices.
The county didn't use the money because they negotiated a new deal with Election Systems and Software to rent voting machines.
