(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Dept of Workforce Development has released December’s unemployment rates.
The state's unemployment rate for the whole was at 8.7%. Orange County had the 3d highest rate at 9.4%, a decrease of two tenths of a percent from November. Lawrence County had the 7th highest rate in the state at 10.7%, Crawford County had the 12th highest at 10.6%. Washington County at 8.5%, Martin had 7.6%, and Dubois county had the lowest unemployment rate in the state for December at 5.9%.
