(UNDATED) A new report may make you think twice the next time you have a craving for microwave popcorn.
Researchers found chemicals in the snack bags - called PFCs - can weaken children's immune systems. The chemicals can make children's bodies less responsive to vaccines, putting them at a higher risk for disease.
Most of us have PFCs in our bloodstream. They're found in stain resistant clothing, furniture and carpeting.
Researchers say there's not much we can do to get rid of the chemicals we're exposed to now, but people can push for regulation of these compounds in the future.
