(INDIANAPOLIS) - As Super Bowl XLVI approaches, people will pay more for parking, in addition to higher hotel and transportation costs.
Spaces that currently go for $10 a night will cost $200 on Super Bowl weekend.
It will cost $900 a day to park an RV in a lot about three minutes from Lucas Oil Stadium.
About 1,200 spaces for the Super Bowl are listed on Parkwhiz.com, including spaces in a lot across from City Market.
Another parking spot downtown currently goes for $6, but it will cost $99 on Feb. 5.
The owners of TWAY, a commercial rigging business, plan to get in the parking business for the Super Bowl.
TWAY expects tailgaters will pay about $400 to park an RV, with the roof of the stadium a little more than a mile away.
