(COLUMBUS)(The Republic) - Policed used a stun gun on a student in Columbus Wednesday after police say he was being disruptive and battling police,The Republic , reports.
School officials at Columbus East High School had contacted the 17-year-old boy's mother, but before she arrived police say he shoved a police officer and reached for the officer's firearm.
In another altercation with police, a Columbus Police Department officer used a stun gun to subdue the teenager, who reportedly has emotional problems.
The boy faces juvenile charges of battery on a police officer and resisting law enforcement.
