(COLUMBUS) - A 14-year-old is accused of breaking into an East Columbus home yesterday and taking electronics and cash.
Lt. Matt Myers of the Columbus Police Department said the homeowner came back to his residence around 11:45 a.m., found the house ransacked and called police
Myers said police noticed the boy near the home. The boy admitted he skipped school, and power tools from a previous burglary were discovered in his home. He was charged with false informing, truancy and burglary.
