(JACKSONBURG) - Eastern Indiana Police say a 13-year-old Ohio boy was arrested after he allegedly drove alone about 60 miles along Interstate 70 while running away from home.
The boy was arrested early Monday after deputies found him sitting in a car parked along I-70 near the Wayne County town of Jasksonburg.
The boy told police he stole the car from his foster parents in Huber Heights in Ohio, because he wanted to visit his former home in Cincinnati. He got lost and decided to pull over.
His foster parents were contacted. They didn't realize their car had been stolen. The boy was released to Huber Heights police. He's expected to be charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and auto theft.
