(KOKOMO) - Four boys, ages 11 to 15, face several charges after a fire and two business burglaries early Sunday morning, Kokomo police said.
(KOKOMO) - Four boys, ages 11 to 15, face several charges after a fire and two business burglaries early Sunday morning, Kokomo police said.
Police were called to the 500 block of North Main Street after a report of suspicious males hiding behind businesses.
When officer arrived, they detained the boys, later finding that two businesses had been burglarized and a fire was set in one of them.
Police said a United Steelworkers building at 420 N. Main St. and Dog World at 502 N. Main St. had been broken into.
Officers said small fires had been started in the Steelworkers building and that the boys had also ransacked the building.
Police said the boys also damaged a truck at 115 E. Jefferson St.
An 11-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy were arrested on felony charges of arson and burglary.
Two more boys, ages 14 and 15, were arrested on charges of burglary and aiding, inducing or causing burglary.
