(COLUMBUS) - Fire investigators in Columbus are trying to determine the cause for a Sunday morning home fire that caused over $100,000 in damage.
Public Information Officer Matt Noblitt reports heavy smoke was coming out of the home at 3422 Sycamore Street when firefighters arrived just before 3 a.m.
Smoke detectors alerted the two residents of the fire which started near the furnace.
