(LAFAYETTE)- Authorities are continuing to search a north-central Indiana river for a Lafayette woman presumed dead after vanishing last week.
State conservation officers and local police conducted an extensive search of Wildcat Creek for Kerry Dunsmore, 43, after high weekend water levels restricted their efforts.
Dunsmore was reported missing Jan. 26. Officers found her vehicle and belongings at a public access site for the river that same day.
Police say Dunsmore is presumed dead. Investigators have found no sign of foul play, and they suspect her disappearance might be a suicide.
Lafayette police Sgt. Jay Rosen said last week that tracks were found leading into the river.
