(WAKARUSA) - A 9-year-old boy has died after being trapped under a pile of cornmeal in northern Indiana, police said.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department said police were called Sunday night to the site near the town of Wakarusa. The Elkhart Truth reported that the boy was pronounced dead at Elkhart General Hospital.
Details about the circumstances of the boy's death weren't immediately released as police and the coroner's office continued their investigations.
