(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis police have arrested a man for robbing a convenience store on the Southside and shooting a customer in the leg in the process.
IMPD Officer Anthony Schnieder says 28-year-old Joseph Vandermark robbed a Speedway station early Saturday morning and when police arrived, the clerk told them a male customer had been shot in the leg by the robber, and that the robber had stolen the customer's pickup truck.
The man's injury was not life threatening. He was caught after a short pursuit about two hours later.
