(INDIANAPOLIS) - Larry Bird is denying rumors he’s stepping down as president of basketball operations for the Indiana Pacers.
The New York Post cited a source today who said regardless of how the season ends, Bird would be retiring.
But Bird denied the report in a statement.
"No decision has been made, end of story," he said.
Bird has been with the Pacers for six years. A similar rumor circulated last year when Bird appeared ready to retire to Florida.
