(NEW CASTLE) - A New Castle man who stabbed his father to death after an argument over a wet floor has received 35 years in prison.
According to the star press of Muncie, Johnny Ray Poore told authorities he had stopped taking his medication for schizophrenia for several days before the June 16 killing.
The 41-year old Poore pleaded guilty but mentally ill to voluntary manslaughter in January.
