(HENRYVILLE)(WISH) - Search and rescue crews spent Saturday going door-to-door looking for any injuries or fatalities as a result of Friday’s tornado outbreak in Southern Indiana. No home was left unchecked.
Task Force 1, or INTF-1, is comprised of firefighters from Marion County and civilians with a wide variety of skills.
Despite the damage and destruction they encountered, the team was focused on one mission - helping anyone who many need any degree of assistance.
Saturday was markedly different, INTF-1 found no bodies and no one trapped in their homes, a relief to the residents who watched them work.
