(KOKOMO) - A Kokomo convenience store clerk is accused of stealing more than $1,000 in food stamps.
54-year-old James Ray Archer worked at Jr's Laundry & Convenient Store.
In December, Archer submitted false reports of food stamp sales four times, totaling $1,360, police said.
Archer was charged with four counts of theft and one count of corrupt business influence.
