(EVANSVILLE) - Evansville police are investigating reports an HIV positive man tried to donate plasma at an Evansville donation center while knowing he was HIV positive.
The Evansville Courier & Press reports the man had signed a form saying he was aware of his condition in November, but tried to donate again in January, this time saying he was HIV negative.
Evansville police say the man's name will be released if they decide a warrant should be issued for his arrest.
The donation center says each sample is sent through a screening process that would catch any potential contamination.
