(MUNSTER) - The family of a northwest Indiana ophthalmologist who disappeared nearly a year ago is offering up to $20,000 for information in the case.
Reward offered for info on missing Northwestern Indiana doctor
The Post-Tribune of Merrillville and The Times of Munster report the family of Dr. Promila Mehta-Paul of Munster is offering a $10,000 reward for information which results in the discovery of the missing doctor's body. An additional $10,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for her death.
Munster police announced in September that they believed Mehta-Paul was dead.
Mehta-Paul was last seen the evening of March 21, 2011. She did not show up for work at her medical office the next day and her family has not heard from her since.
