(INDIANAPOLIS) - Victims of the tornadoes that ravaged southern Indiana in early March will get a little extra help from the Internal Revenue Service.
Hoosiers in Clark, Jefferson, Ripley, Scott, Warrick and Washington counties will be allotted extra time to file their federal tax returns, IRS officials said.
Instead of the normal April 17 deadline, Hoosiers in those counties will have until May 31 to file, officials said.
