(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis police are investigating a crash that left one woman dead Friday afternoon.
Witnesses tell investigators the lights at the intersection were not working due to a storm that passed through Indianapolis when they suddenly flashed red twice, then turned green for east-west traffic.
A black Chevrolet Blazer traveling northbound entered the intersection when it was struck by a white Ford van.
Two people inside the Blazer were injured, one of whom was taken an area hospital where she later died from her injuries.
