(TERRE HAUTE) - A ISU student is alleging that she was sexually assaulted and her personal property was stolen.
Police are now investigating the accusations.
ISU Public Safety says a female student, an upperclassman, invited six black males to her room at Lincoln Squad.
They had met at the Terre Haute event center on East Wabash.
At 3:30 a.m. the student reported a theft.
ISU Public Safety confirmed stolen electronic items from the student's room after the men left.
An hour later the student made reports of sexual assault.
Female students on campus say it happened too close to home.
"I am worried because if it happened to her it could happen to anyone. From now on I will definitely make sure I walk with friends," said Jourdan Hunt.
"I think all girls should have a protective little weapon on them, because you just never know," said Camisa Foltz.
The suspects are described as six black males, four dark complected and two with lighter complexion.
At least three got into a black or blue vehcile.
All six are believed to be from Indianapolis.
The Terre Haute police and ISU Public Safety investigators sent the student to the hospital.
ISU Public Safety is still investigating.
