(INDIANAPOLIS) - A north side Indianapolis church faces a new wrongful death lawsuit, following the drowning of a toddler back in February.
It happened in the baptismal pool at the Praise Fellowship Assembly of God, located at Michigan Road and Township Line Road. The lawsuit says the victim, Juan Carlos Cardenas, "was allowed to wander off by himself, resulting in him falling into an unguarded pool of water."
A prosecutor found no evidence of neglect and no criminal charges have been filed against the church.
