(HANCOCK COUNTY) - Hancock County officials said a SWAT standoff between an armed man and police at a home near Greenfield ended peacefully Thursday night.
Minutes after 5 p.m., Hancock County SWAT negotiators were called to a home in the 5800 block of East 200 South.
Sheriff Mike Shepherd said an Iraq war veteran was holed up inside the home with several firearms.

Investigators said the man was believed to have post-traumatic stress syndrome and he had recently been hospitalized.
The two-hour standoff ended peacefully just before 7:30 p.m. without any injuries, negotiators said.
The suspect's identity was not released.
