(TERRE HAUTE) - A Valley prison inmate is found guilty of strangling his cell mate to death.
U.S. Attorney Joseph Hogsett announced today that 46-year-old Daniel Delaney is convicted of first degree murder of his cell mate at the Terre Haute Federal Correctional Complex.
In 2010, correctional officers found Delaney's cell mate dead in his cell with his hands bound and a bed sheet tied around his neck.
Delaney faces a mandatory life sentence without parole.
He had previously been incarcerated for a series of bank robberies.
