(INDIANAPOLIS) - Employees at a east side factory worked through the morning to rescue five goslings that were trapped in a storm drain.
The goslings fell into a pipe leading to a storm drain near Automotive Component Holdings in the 6900 block of English Avenue sometime overnight, workers said.
Two adult geese were seen frantically sticking their heads down the pipe and hissing at those who approached.
Some workers were concerned that the company wasn't moving fast enough to free the goslings, so they used a vacuum to rescue the baby birds.
All of the goslings had been pulled from the pipe and reunited with their parents by 11 a.m.
A spokeswoman for ACH said the company had called a wildlife rescue company.
