(ARCADIA) - Police are investigating the theft of more than $2,000 in baseball equipment from Hamilton Heights High School in Arcadia.
Bats, eyewear and personal items were stolen when locker rooms near the baseball fields were burglarized during the weekend of April 28, police said.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department released surveillance pictures Monday of two vehicles - a four-door car and a black SUV - that were spotted in the area during the time of the burglary.
"At this time, it is unknown if the vehicles in the pictures are suspects or perhaps someone who may have seen others in the area and can help with the investigation," Deputy Vicky Dunbar said in a news release.
Anyone with information about the vehicles or the burglary is asked to call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Department at 317-773-1282 or Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
