(KOKOMO) - Kokomo police are investigating possible human remains spotted in a river that runs through a city park.
Police Maj. Brian Seldon said a man fishing in Foster Park about 1:15 p.m. Monday spotted what he believed to be a human skull in approximately 12 inches of water.
Seldon said the possible remains were recovered by police and will be taken to Indianapolis for analysis and evaluation.
Seldon said the case remains under investigation.
