(MADISON) - For the next few weeks the south gate to Clifty Falls State Park on State Road 56 will be closed.
Brittany Carlsen of WISH TV reports crews will be clearing debris from a mudslide that happened last year on South Hill near High Bridge.
The gate will be closed Monday through Thursday but will remain open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Visitors will need to use the north gate on State Road 62 for much of the week.
Crews will create a buffer zone to limit the damage by future mudslides.
