Wallencheck has been identified as the man linked to theft and forgery investigations throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky.
According to Det. Sexton, Wallencheck is accused of using credit cards he had stolen from the towns of Edon and Bryan in Ohio to purchase items from Walmart in Auburn on May 7.
The items included $500 worth of gift cards, a necklace worth more than $300 and an iPad and a cover accessory for the tablet. Wallencheck also donated two dollars to the Children's Miracle Network during the transaction.
