(TERRE HAUTEI) - A Terre Haute woman will go to trial this summer on charges of criminal recklessness after she allegedly fired a gun at others while holding a child.
The charges date back to an incident in October 2011 when authorities said Ashley Clarkson shot at a woman and her friends who had come to retrieve a relative's belongings from Clarkson's home. No one was injured, authorities said.
While Clarkson had earlier pleaded guilty to the charge against as part of an agreement with prosecutors, a judge threw out her plea deal and guilty plea at a hearing on Monday.
A jury trial for Clarkson is scheduled for July 24.
