(INDIANAPOLIS) - Before he rides into the proverbial sunset, Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels is going on one more motorcycle ride to help raise money for military families.
Daniels says that the Aug. 10 ride will have participants leave from the Statehouse in Indianapolis and travel to French Lick.
The ride is free but donations will be accepted for the Indiana National Guard Relief Fund.
The governor has led an annual ride with the motorcycle safety group ABATE since taking office in 2005.
August's ride will be Daniels' eighth such ride as governor.
He is term-limited from seeking re-election in November.
