(INDIANAPOLIS) - Officials from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources said after this weekend’s two drowning incidents, 18 people have drowned in open water in Indiana in 2012.
The number is a little lower than the same time last year, when 20 people had drowned in open water. That doesn't include people who drowned in backyard pools.
