(CLARK COUNTY) - Investigators say two people have been taken to hospitals after their hot air balloon came in contact with power lines and went down.
Officials in Clark County say the accident happened at about 8:00 p.m. Wednesday along Wilson Switch Road at State Road 60. Reports say there were three people on board.
One person was reported to have suffered electrical burns to the front of his body. The injuries to a second occupant were not specified. There's no word on injuries to the third person.
One victim was taken by medical helicopter to University Hospital in Louisville. The other victim went by ground ambulance to Floyd Memorial Hospital.
The accident is under investigation.
