(INDIANAPOLIS) - Organizers of the Inaugural Indiana Latino Expo said the event exceeded their expectations as thousands of people gathered at the Indiana State Fairgrounds to take part in the cultural displays and concerts.
Indiana Latino Expo President Charlie Garcia said Indiana's Latino population is growing quickly and the event was a great way to celebrate diversity among Hoosiers.
Consulates were available at the expo from Uruguay, El Salvador, Mexico, Guatemala, Peru and Ecuador to work with some Latinos who needed immigration assistance.
