(BRAZIL) - Water officials in Brazil, added to the state’s request to conserve.
Brazil Water Works asks all customers to be aware of their usage.
The new expectation is that customers cut back however possible.
Each company around the Valley is different, but in Brazil, they say this is one stage of several, and conditions could worsen in the future.
"There are like three areas," explained Brazil's Jacob Raubach. "The first one is a warning, the second being severe, and the third being critical. We're at that stage where they're asking people to cut back on anything not domestic."
The company reminds customers that they aren't in a shortage at this time, but any help from customers can make a big difference.
