Crews Continue To Search For Missing Teen Along Lake Michigan

(INDIANAPOLIS) - Crews searching for a missing Northern Indiana teen announced Monday that their mission has turned into a recovery mission.

The 15-year-old boy was swept away along Lake Michigan while swimming with friends Sunday night.

Coast guard crews spent several hours searching for the teen but saw no sign of him.

Witnesses reported waves on Lake Michigan were kicking up between three and five feet at the time of his disappearance.
