(INDIANAPOLIS) - Officials found no additional human remains Monday when searching the White River, where a human skull was discovered Sunday.
The Indianapolis Fire Department Tactical Dive Team 7 did a recovery dive Monday afternoon, but found no additional human remains, officials said.
John Hudman told police he was wading in the river to fish near Bluff Road underneath West Raymond Street when he found what appeared to be a human skull about 6 feet from the east bank.
The Marion County Coroner's Office confirmed that a skull found in the White River on Indianapolis' west side Sunday is human.
The skull was turned over to the coroner's office.
