(INDIANPOLIS) - The man police said was last with a woman before she drowned in the White River will remain in custody until he appears in court on Monday.

Police have charged James Petersen with knocking over one officer and spitting at another.
Police said he assault officers and medics who were on scene for the drowning of 24-year-old Jessica Adkins.
The two were reportedly skinny dipping in the river Tuesday when Adkins disappeared below the surface.
