(CAMP ATTERBURY) - About 9,000 military and civilian personnel from across the country are in southern Indiana for a field training exercise simulating a response to a domestic terrorist attack.
The Army and the Indiana National Army are hosting the exercise named Vibrant Response at Camp Atterbury near Columbus, the Muscatatuck Urban Training Complex in southeastern Indiana and surrounding areas through Aug. 13.
The Guard says the training includes urban and aerial search-and-rescue missions, simulated decontamination operations, an airlift and medical training.
