(ROSEDALE) - Just after 7 p.m. Sunday evening, a man who had barricaded himself in a house in Parke County surrendered to police.
The suspect, who had fired shots at police officers and then barricaded himself in, came out of the house and was arrested.
A town marshal and a state police officer arrived on the scene and a man came out of the house and fired shots at their cars. Both of the officers were wounded, but not severely.
The man then went back into the house and barricaded himself inside.
Several police departments, including the Parke County Sheriff's office, State Police and Rosedale Police departments are currently on the scene.
Police say there were numerous people in the house with the suspect when police were called, but they have all gotten out.
One woman was taken out of the house on a stretcher and was transported to a local hospital, with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are trying to negotiating with the subject to get him out of the house.
